The residential rental housing industry will continue to face challenges at the local, state and federal levels of government in 2008. HB 88 – Carbon Monoxide Detector Installation – this bill was introduced early in 2007 by Representative Domenick (D; Smithfield). Conservation Neighborhoods Designation – this local ordinance has been at the forefront of local CAA efforts for a couple of years. The ordinance was reintroduced and passed during the most recent city council meeting on January 28, 2008.
