At times we need to manage or supervise employees by giving specific directions. A majority of our time as leaders should be coaching, guiding and providing feedback to our employees. Coaching and developing is challenging for managers who are used to giving specific directions – telling people what to do. Coaching is not telling – it is guiding and listening. This workshop aides leaders at all levels in learning more effective techniques of coaching others to be at their best. The best coaching happens when the person being coached does most of the talking and works through issues with their coach guiding them through discovery. This awesome workshop models how to set the environment up for a successful coaching experience for all parties by: Setting the Stage, Gaining Commitment, Establishing a SMART Goal, Exploring Solutions, Putting together a Written Plan and Support & Follow-Up. Throughout the workshop participants are lead through activities to help them discover how they are doing as leaders in their own coaching strategies with the content that is being covered.
