Associate Council
The Associate Council is an elected group of Associate Members (suppliers) who work along with the Board of Trustees to actively enhance the benefits and opportunities for Associate Members. There are fifteen (15) representatives from Associate Member companies that hold a three (3) year term on Associate Council; the nomination and the election process are held annually starting in August.
Bowling Workgroup
The Bowling workgroup is the newest workgroup for the CAA and it coordinates the annual Charity Bowling Luncheon. The luncheon is usually held in February and the workgroup’s main task is filling teams. They also discuss time, date, place, theme, etc. Meetings start in September and run through February; they meet for one hour a month.
Expo Workgroup
Each spring, the CAA hosts the largest multi-family industry exposition in central Ohio. The workgroup plans the date, time, place and all the details surrounding the event. In addition, the group discusses how to increase attendance and member satisfaction. They meet monthly for about an hour starting in July and running through April.
Golf Outing
Held in August, the annual Golf Outing is one of CAA’s most popular events. The workgroup focuses on strategies to sell the sponsorships and foursomes. They meet monthly for about an hour starting in March and running through August. The outing is in August.
Reverse Raffle
The Reverse Raffle workgroup’s focus is selling the 100 tickets for the event. They also work on the date, time, place, sponsorships and ways in increase the charity donation. All proceeds benefit the CAA Community Assistance Foundation. They meet monthly for about an hour starting in May and running through November. The event is usually in the beginning of November.
