CAA's Annual Golf Outing
Golfers, Sponsors Bring Heat for Annual CAA Outing
The CAA held the annual Golf Outing again this at the Golf Club of Dublin on Tuesday, August 6. The sold-out outing is always a nice excuse for a day out of the office for over140 golfers and sponsors as they joined colleagues and other CAA members for scramble golf, games, food, and a little bit of competition.
Golfers were escorted to their assigned starting holes for a shotgun start and worked their way around the 18 holes meeting CAA Member sponsors at each hole and various points around the course. Some sponsors hosted games, provided snacks or a quick respite from the heat and a drink all while learning about products, services or companies before teeing off and continuing on their way. Sponsors made each hole their own by and created a light, entertaining atmosphere throughout the day.
The CAA would like to give special thanks to Benchmark Roofing and Restoration for serving as this year’s tournament sponsor. Golfers started their day with a breakfast sandwich provided by Zillow Rentals and a Bloody Mary sponsored by Birge & Held. Unified Residential Management sponsored the lunch grill at the turn for each golfer while Servpro sponsored a drink called transfusion at the turn. Scorecards were sponsored by FABCO, Alita Construction Services sponsored player carts and Choice Cabinets entertained on the Putting Green with a putting contest, Banya Utility, Contractors Inc. and Qwikkit sponsored the awards Reception, and Greenway Waste & Recycling and Birge & Held sponsored the Prizes.
After a little over five hours of play golfers and sponsors enjoyed drinks and food in the ballroom anxiously awaiting the awards and sharing tales from around the course during the day.
